Many Hands Helping Others

The Danville Area School District is committed to the education of their students and the needs of their families.

Therefore, we established the “Many Hands Helping Others” program. This is a   community project designed to help children who need extra nutritional meals and snacks for the weekend and extended breaks.  It is also designed to include siblings at home.

Well-nourished kids are proven to be healthier and better learners.  The success of this program is exemplified by the distribution of  8,172  total food bags in the 2016-2017 school year.

MHHO also provides supplemental clothing, hygiene items, and other non-perishable needs to the students at any of the Danville Area Schools during the school year. These needs are identified by the School’s staff.
